Em dezembro- parte 1 ::: In December part 1
December was, without a shadow of a doubt, a very busy month! First stop: Madrid. This time to teach a workshop: the rosette Christmas wreath. I have a feeling the ladies were not expecting such a difficult project to execute!
This store in Madrid, Papel Vivo, has been my client for a few years and I can't say exactly what it is about it that has always fascinated me! The ladies that come to the workshops are always nice and lively and of various ages. I always get the feeling though that in Spain, Scrapbooking is still giving small steps and that somehow they have more to unveil about this technique.
In this photo, at the center, you can see Eva, one of the owners. She and her mother, Aracelli, have been managing the shop for the last couple of years. I find it so funny that this is a Mother and daughter store like ours!
Overall I had 22 students, in two different classes and since I speak Spanish poorly and that the ladies talk quite a lot, I really believe this was an achievement! What never ceases to fascinate me is the fact that at the end we had no two wreaths alike. all the 22 of them came out differently!
Ainda não sei quando voltarei a dar uma aula em Madrid mas ficou já combinada a próxima sessão: um mini-álbum bem florido e feminino!
I am not sure when my next class in Madrid will be but we already have it drawn out: a very feminine and blossomed mini-album!
