 É curioso que quando somos obrigados a definir com objectos concretos as coisas de que gostamos, que nos definem e que de algumas forma fazem parte do nosso mundo, acabamos muitas vezes por ser surpreendidos pelo resultado final.
E foi exactamente isso que me aconteceu quando tive de definir o meu "eu" no mundo virtual. Quem me conhece sabe que raramente uso a cor vermelha (acho mesmo que não tenho uma única peça de roupa nesta cor) mas a verdade é que todos os meus tecidos e fitas favoritas são vermelhos! Gosto muito da cor azul e essa sim é presença assídua no meu guarda-roupa mas só muito recentemente comecei a aventurar-me na paleta de tons que essa cor nos oferece.

It's funny that when we are forced to define with real objects the things we like best, things that define us and that in a way are part of our world, we end up being surprised by the outcome of such exercise.
And that was exactly what happened to me when I had to define my virtual "me". Those who know me also know I seldom wear red (I even think I don't have one single piece in my wardrobe at the moment) but the truth is that all my favorite fabrics and ribbons are red! I really like blue and that color is a constants presence in my wardrobe but only recently I have discovered the different shades that one color has to offer.

Por isso e sem sombra de dúvida, o meu eu virtual é vermelho e azul mas mais do que isso, o meu "eu" criativo é vermelho e azul. Embora adore cor-de-rosa, de facto o vermelho é uma cor muito presente nos meus trabalhos, quer em papel quer em tecido. Nunca esquecendo o branco, que mais puro ou mais creme anda também sempre por aqui.

So without a shadow of a doubt, my virtual "me" is red and blue, but more than that, my crafty "me" is red and blue. Although I love pink the fact is that in most of my works, either in paper or fabric, I use red a lot. Never forgetting white of course, that more crystal or smudged is always around here.

Adorei fazer este exercício, proposto pelo e-course que fiz, pois obrigou-me a pensar muito e reflectir naquilo que muitas vezes é natural para mim. Fez-me crescer e descobrir que afinal sou muito mais criativa do que pensava!

I really enjoyed making this exercise, launched by the e-course I took, because it made me think about what comes as second nature to me. It made me grow and also find out that I am much more creative than I thought!
